At Tails of Joy, we believe that animals are more than just pets - they are family members. That's why we provide the highest level of care and attention to each and every pet in our care. We care for them taking attention to the details you provide us with about your pets, following all client instructions and safety procedures.
Our team has over 20 years of experience in dog walking and pet care. We understand that each pet will have unique needs and we are committed to providing personalized care for each of our furry clients. We have a diploma in dog walking and pet sitting, as well as keeping our pet first aid training up to date.
Charlotte has always had an interest in animals and grew up looking after dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, budgies... the list goes on! She has always attended to family pets when holidays occur and assisted pets attending shows including Crufts!
It made complete sense to further her education for our pets and expand!
After filling in our contact form, we will provide you with any further information via email before arranging a free pre-service meeting with you.
The meeting will make sure that we get all of your pets information, as well as finding out what your pet needs.
This also serves as our first meet and greet with your pet!
When a service contract has been arranged, we may take a deposit from you on the first occasion. We may also attend a trial walk or offer a trial walk service to check where your pet best fits in.
We will collect your pet from your home if it is for a dog walking service and ensure that they are returned home happy and exercised out! Of course we will make sure that your pet is dry and has plenty of water when settling them back in.
For pet check ins, we will ensure that the needs agreed of your pets are covered in the visit such as feeding them, filling water bowls, playing and letting them out into the garden. If you have a specific puppy schedule that you are sticking to or a training exercise, we can help with this when you are away.
In the event that any weather effects the services we can offer for the day, we will always endeavour to still attend to your pet and offer play time or other alternatives instead of a walk.
